Katanning Playgroup is a vibrant community group for children 0 - 5 years and their parents / carers to build friendships through play!
What we do at Playgroup
Each two hour session is relaxed, driven by the kids and their carers. But here's what a typical day includes!
Fruit and Worms
Bring a piece of fruit to share, and then help feed our resident worms in our worm farms!
Carers enjoy a cuppa and a chat too.
Craft
After fruit time, get hands on with your child glueing, painting, cutting, colouring and creating!
Playgroup Sessions
Your membership entitles you to come to as many sessions as you wish, and also to use the venue for your childs birthday party or just to get out of the house!
Mondays 9.30am - 11.30am
Start the week off right with our Monday session. Great for the kids to burn some energy and for parents to connect with new friends.
Fridays 9.30am - 11.30am
You made it through the week! Celebrate with a play, and a cuppa at this regular session.
Special Sessions
Occasionally we have Playgroup Outdoors in a local park or reserve, host A Smart Start / Shire early childhood events, or visit a special place in the community such as the aged care home.
Membership
Your first two sessions are free! Membership covers your entire family, regardless of how many kids you have!
Membership consists of two parts: Playgroup WA Insurance (if you've already paid through another playgroup, no need to pay this again) & Katanning Playgroup local Term fees.
Playgroup WA: $35 per year ($15/yr concession)
PLUS
Term Fees: $10 per term ($7/term concession).
(Maximum total fee = $75 for the year).
